TIM beta was created by R/GA, it is a cell phone plan designed for youngsters who have an intense use of data and social networks. Connected to a digital platform called “Bla-bla-meter” which measures and scores the use of the plan and the social influence, the product recognizes the most important clients offering them exclusive discounts and benefits.

In order to get the plan, it is necessary to receive an invitation from a “beta Lab” (clients with bigger scores in the game). The competition for points ended up stimulating betas to find ways of “hacking” the game.

The customers used to check their points only through TIM beta’s website. In 2014 we created the App as a new easy way to be connected to TIM beta.

A few months after the App release, we launched the Missions section. The users receive a photographic challenge. They have to post the challenge on their Instagram account. Customers with approved participation received 300 points in the ‘Bla-bla-meter’.
